Long Sleeve
Sleeve length, neckline and body coverage to your brief.
ZIKOSWIM develops and manufactures private label rash guards at our own factory in Dongguan, China. Create adult and kids’ styles with your choice of fit, sleeve length, panels, seams and zips, with UPF 50+ fabric options available.
Send a tech pack, reference garment or design images to begin.

Develop long- or short-sleeve styles, zip openings, cropped cuts and one-piece designs. These options can be combined and adapted for adult or children’s collections.
Sleeve length, neckline and body coverage to your brief.
Set the sleeve opening, shoulder shape and intended fit.
Specify zip length, opening and protective finishing.
Define the body length and the fit at the lower edge.
Coordinate torso length, coverage and opening details.
Start with the intended activity and fit. A close-fitting swim top and a relaxed beach rash guard need different body measurements, ease and opening dimensions.
We develop the pattern around your size chart, then review movement and construction on the sample.

Choose raglan or set-in sleeves and review the armhole and underarm space with the arms raised and reaching forward.
Specify flatlock or overlock construction, thread and seam placement. Review the inside finish and how panel joins feel against the skin.
Confirm opening measurements, neckline height and body length. Check where the hem sits during movement.
Define zip length and placement, puller and backing details. Review the top guard and opening comfort on the sample.
Select the fabric around the end use, fit and artwork. We can source to your specification, including nylon–elastane, polyester–elastane and recycled fabric options.
| What to specify | Why it matters to development | What to review |
|---|---|---|
| Composition & weight | Set the intended hand feel, garment weight and material direction. | Actual swatch, surface, thickness and supplier specification. |
| Stretch & recovery | Develop ease and panel dimensions around the selected fabric. | Fit, movement and how openings and panels recover after stretching. |
| Wet-state appearance | Consider coverage and colour appearance in the intended use. | Wet and dry appearance, especially on pale colours and stretched areas. |
| Colour & artwork | Match the print process to the material and design. | Colour, print clarity and appearance on stretched fabric. |
Tell us your target market and sun protection requirements so we can propose an appropriate material. Confirm the selected fabric’s supporting information and any testing required for your product. The finished garment’s claims need to match its design and applicable evidence.
Fabric swatches and colour cards are free; courier costs are paid by the customer. Additional performance requirements, such as chlorine resistance or quick drying, should be specified and assessed for the selected material.

Full prints, colour panels and logo placements need to work with the garment’s seams and openings. We review the artwork against the pattern before making your sample.
Mark where a motif should align at body and sleeve seams, and agree any practical matching limits.
Check how the zip divides the design and where artwork should start or stop beside the opening.
Review logo proportions, colour and placement on the sample in its intended fit.
Adapt shared artwork to rash guards and bikini pieces. Confirm colour on each fabric rather than assuming identical results.
Complete the range with agreed labels and packaging.
Use your own size chart or share a reference garment and fit direction. Adult and kids’ products are developed to their intended proportions, coverage and wearing requirements.
Define fitted or relaxed ease, chest and waist measurements, sleeve length and finished body length. For one-piece styles, include torso measurements and opening requirements.
Specify age and height references alongside garment measurements. Confirm head and neck openings, sleeve and body lengths, and practical dressing details for the intended age range.
A front-view photo alone does not show every fit detail. Agree the measurements, movement views and close-ups needed to review your rash guard.
Before dispatch, you normally confirm the sample through photos and video. See our sampling process for the full development sequence and revision terms.
Review the agreed size chart, ease, body length and opening dimensions.
Check the shoulders, underarms and hem with the arms raised and extended.
Inspect inside joins, neck and cuff finishes, zip backing and top guard.
Confirm panel colours, logo position and print appearance against the approved references.
